Immigration law is as dry as it comes, in my opinion it is right up there with tax law (also found on this site). It is often so convoluted that it is impossible to understand anything. We have worded this section of the site as simply and as shortly as possible. The long and the short of it is; Americans can now enjoy Swedish Citizenship while retaining their American Citizenship and Swedes can obtain American Citizenship without losing their Swedish Citizenship.
